Recently, I made my first trip to Turks and Caicos. The Turks and Caicos is a series of islands that are officially considered British Overseas Territory; however, I found Turks and Caicos to be unique in its customs and culture, especially compared with other islands in the Caribbean. Traveling out to Turks and Caicos was a quick direct flight from Florida.

Flying into the Turks and Caicos it was readily apparent the beauty of the islands upon my flight’s approach. The largest city in the Turks and Caicos is Providenciales. When flying into Providenciales it is readily noticable by those flying in of the beautiful turquoise looking water surrounding the island.

There is no public transportation on the island; however, if one decides to rent a car, one will drive on the left side of the road just like in England or Australia.

The water is crystal clear and the seas are quite calm. I had the pleasure of exploring the island, many parts of the island are easily walkable.

One of the more interesting aspects of the island is the lack of central air conditioning. Most rooms have wall or ceiling air conditioning units, so it takes a little getting used to this.

Overall, this was a wonderful trip on behalf of our client.
